Singapore citizens can enjoy subsidised health screening under Healthier SG Screening. This guide explains who is eligible, how much it costs and what is covered.

Who Is Eligible

Eligibility for Healthier SG Screening depends on:

·       Your age and sex

·       Date of last health screening

·       Any health conditions you have

We check this information from available records in Government databases, including the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR).

Note: You may not qualify if you already have chronic diseases or certain cancers (cervical or colorectal).

Eligibility for screening:

Cardiovascular risk	All genders aged 40+	3 years or more
Colorectal cancer	All genders aged 50+	1 year or more
Breast cancer	Women aged 50+	2 years or more
Cervical cancer	Women aged 25+	3 years since last Pap test - for age 25 to 29 5 years since last HPV test - for age 30+

How Much it Costs

Under Healthier SG Screening, eligible Singapore citizens enjoy a subsidised fee of $5 or less per visit. This covers selected screenings at CHAS GP clinics.

Breast cancer screening for women has separate rates.

Note:

• For Permanent Residents: Check with your CHAS GP clinic for the screening rates under Healthier SG Screening. The doctor’s consultation fees will apply.
• Public Assistance (PA) cardholders get the same subsidies as Pioneer Generation (PG) cardholders.

What Is Covered

You can get subsidies for these tests:

• Cardiovascular risk screening
• Cervical cancer screening
• Colorectal cancer screening
• Breast cancer screening

The fixed fee includes:

• All recommended tests done on the same visit.
• The first follow-up doctor’s visit, if needed.

Note:

• Other tests are not subsidised, even if done at a CHAS GP clinic.
• If your tests are done on different days, you’ll be charged again for each visit.

Breast Cancer Screening Fees

Breast cancer screening is available only at selected polyclinics.

Subsidies For Adults Under 40

You can still get some screening subsidies even if you're under 40.

If you are:

• Aged 18 to 39 and found to be at ‘higher risk’ based on the Diabetes Risk Assessment, you can get the cardiovascular risk screening subsidy.
• A woman aged 25 to 39, you can get the cervical cancer screening subsidy.
