What Is Colour Vision Screening for Children?

Details

Colour vision screening checks if a student has difficulty telling certain colours apart. It is done at Primary 5, before the Primary 6 national exam.

The screening uses the Ishihara test, where students find numbers in coloured dot pictures. Younger children may not understand this test. Hence, it is done in Primary 5.
