Withdrawing From hiSG

You may withdraw from hiSG anytime during the 2-year study. Here’s what you need to know.

What Happens After You Withdraw

Once you confirm you want to withdraw:

  • Your $50 study deposit will be forfeited according to the study's terms & conditions.
  • You do not need to meet any more study requirements.
  • You can keep any Healthpoints and e-vouchers you’ve earned.
  • You also need to choose what to do with your study device:

Return your device and accessories to HPB (Lobby).

 

Note: All items need to be in their original working condition.

Items to return:

  • Fitbit smartwatch
  • Charging cable
  • Short strap
  • Long strap
  • User manual
  • Product box

Keep your device for personal use

You can keep your device by paying a device takeover fee.

 

The fee will be pro-rated based on your withdrawal date (Check Schedule 1 of the  terms & conditions).

Note: The study deposit is not refundable. However, we may consider waiving the device takeover fee for special cases, such as compassionate grounds.

How to Withdraw

Send an email to hisg@hpb.gov.sg with:

  • Your study ID
  • Your request to withdraw and reason
  • What you’d like to do with the study device (return or keep)

We’ll confirm your withdrawal and guide you on the next steps.
