Why Did Some Sec 3 to 5 Students Receive the HPV Vaccine From HPB?

HPB ran a one-time catch-up programme from 2019 to 2021.

This was to protect Sec 3 to 5 students before they left school.

Now, HPV shots are mainly for Sec 1 and 2 students at:

  • MOE secondary schools
  • Special Education (SPED) schools
  • Privately funded schools
  • Full-time Madrasahs
