Ways to Stay Updated

Here's how to know about event updates such as venue changes or cancelled sessions.

Sync with your calendar:

  • Turn on Sync Calendar in the Healthy 365 app.
  • This adds your booked sessions to your phone's calendar.
  • Your calendar will show changes if you keep sync on.
  • If you turn off the sync, future changes won’t show. Check the app for updates.

Get alerts:

  • Turn on push notifications in the app.
  • Check your email (ensure your email is correct in your Healthy 365 profile).
  • View the Booked tab on your app dashboard.

You can also:

  • Check the Activity Description for wet weather plans.
  • Contact the event organiser (details are in the session information).

Tip: Always check the Healthy 365 app for last-minute changes.

When Sessions Get Cancelled Due to Weather

We will cancel activities due to weather to reduce health risks and keep participants safe.

Rain

  • Sessions will be cancelled at least 15 minutes before they start.
  • For last-minute changes, an event facilitator will tell you at the venue.

Very Hot Weather (High Heat Stress)

Hot weather can lead to heat-related illnesses like heat cramps and heat stroke.

  • HPB may cancel outdoor sessions 15 minutes before the start if heat stress readings from NEA are high.
  • A session may also be cancelled after it starts if heat stress levels rise to "high."
    • On-site facilitators will inform participants if this happens.

Haze Conditions

Poor air quality can worsen breathing problems or heart conditions.

We follow NEA’s haze advisories. Here's what happens based on air quality:

Air Quality Level

What Happens

Unhealthy (PSI 101–200) or Elevated (PM2.5: 56–150)

  • Outdoor activities may move indoors (if possible) or be cancelled.
  • Indoor and virtual activities continue.

Hazardous (PSI 301 and above) or Very High (PM2.5 >251)

  • All outdoor, indoor, and virtual activities will be cancelled until further notice.

Staying Active Indoors

If haze or heat cancels your session, you can still stay active at home:

  • Make sure your space is well-ventilated.
  • Visit the HPB MOVE IT page for home workout ideas.
