Deposit and Early Withdrawal
A $50 deposit is collected before your device is issued.
This deposit will be forfeited if you withdraw early (i.e. during the 2-year study period).
- If you withdraw early, you can either:
- Return the device in working condition
- Keep the device by paying a takeover fee, based on how long you’ve been in the study.
Replacement and Withdrawal Fees
Below are the fees that apply:

Note: Participants who withdraw and choose to return the study device will not need to pay the device takeover fee.
