Colorectal cancer usually has no signs or symptoms in the early stages.

Use a Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) to check for colorectal cancer.
The test looks for tiny amounts of blood in your stool. You can’t see this blood with your eyes.
The FIT is simple and can be done at home.
Tip: Find out how you can get a FIT kit to do the test at home.
If your FIT result is positive, it means that the test found more blood than usual in your stool.
This does not mean you have cancer. You’ll need another test, usually a colonoscopy, to find out the cause.
