Adding a Meal Log


You can add your food or drinks to the Healthy 365 app through keyword searches or photos. Follow the steps for your age group.

Getting Started for Your Age Group

If You Are 15 to 17 Years Old

Open the Healthy 365 app. If you don't have the latest version, download it from the App Store or Google Play.

On the Home tab, tap Log My Meal.

Tap the + icon beside your desired time band to add your meal log for today or yesterday. Time bands available are:

Tip: To view meals logged in the past 30 days, tap the Calendar icon and select a specific date.

If You Are 18 Years Old and Above

1.Open the Healthy 365 app. If you don't have the latest version, download it from the App Store or Google Play.

2. On the Home tab, tap the Log My Meal.

    

Note: You can also tap Log My Meal on the second dashboard under My Progress. You will need to set up your nutrition tracking dashboard first before this option appears.

3. Tap the + icon beside your desired time band to add your meal log for today or yesterday. Time bands available are:

Tip: To view meals logged in the past 30 days, tap the Calendar icon and select a specific date.

Ways to Log Your Meal

Once you have selected a time band, choose one of these ways to log your meal:

Tip: If you have added a meal to your favourites before, you can use it to quickly add a meal log too.

Search by Keywords

To search for food or drinks through keywords:

1. Type the name of your food or drink in the search bar, then tap the + icon on the most applicable item.

  

2. Tap the + or - icons to adjust the quantity or portion size of your item (e.g., 0.5 or 1 cup, bowl, piece or plate).

3. If you had more than one item during your meal, repeat steps 1 and 2.

4. Tap Save after you have added all of your items.

Take a Photo

To search for food or drinks through a photo:

1. Tap Photo, then Take a Photo.

 

Note: You will need to grant camera access to the Healthy 365 app. 

2. Take a photo of your food or drink item. Then, tap Use Photo or Retake (if needed).

 

 

3. Review the results:

 

 

4. Tap the + or - icons to adjust the quantity or portion size of your item (e.g., 0.5 or 1 cup, bowl, piece, or plate).

5. If you had more than one item during your meal, repeat steps 1 to 4. Tap Save after you have added all of your items.

Upload a Photo

To search for food or drinks through an uploaded photo:

1. Tap Photo, then Upload a Photo to select the photo of your food or drink.

 

 

Note: You will need to grant camera and photo gallery access to the Healthy 365 app.

 

2. Review the results:

 

3. Follow the steps to search by keywords.

4. ap the + or – icons to adjust the quantity or portion size of your item (e.g., 0.5 or 1 cup, bowl, piece, or plate).

5. If you had more than one item during your meal, repeat steps 1 to 4. Tap Save after you have added all of your items.
